To get a useful answer faster, include your device model, your iOS version, and the email you signed in with.
I bought Pro and it is gone. Open the cabinet (avatar, top left) and tap Restore purchases under Account. The purchase lives with your Apple ID, so it comes back on any device signed in to that same Apple ID.
I deleted my account. Do I pay again? No. A non-consumable purchase cannot be sold to you twice. Sign in again and tap Restore purchases; Pro comes back for free. Your learning progress is gone for good, that part is not recoverable.
What costs money? All 310 questions are free to study in German, without limits. One purchase unlocks translations and explanations for the whole catalog, forever. There is no subscription.
What is free? Translations and explanations for the first 30 questions, plus one exam run. Practice tickets are unlimited.
I want a refund. Refunds go through Apple, not through us: reportaproblem.apple.com. We cannot issue them.
My progress did not move to my new phone. Progress syncs through your account, not through the device. Sign in with the same method you used before (Apple, Google or email) and the progress arrives. If you studied while signed out, that progress lives only on the old device.
I want my account deleted. Cabinet → Account → Delete account. This erases the profile, the email and all progress from our servers. It is immediate and cannot be undone.
I want my data. Ask at hello@sobaapps.com and we send you everything stored about you.
I think an answer is wrong. Tell us the question number and what you expected: hello@sobaapps.com. Every question and answer key in the app was checked against the official BAMF catalog and the live BAMF test centre, so we treat these reports seriously and check the source again.
Is the catalog current? It follows the official BAMF catalog as published on 7 May 2025: 300 national questions plus 10 for your federal state. BAMF updates it about once a year, and we ship the update when it appears.
Why is the explanation in English when I picked another language? The catalog is translated into your language, and the app shows it under the German original. If a question shows English where you expect your language, that is a bug. Send us the question number.
How do I change my federal state or translation language? Both live in the cabinet (avatar, top left) and can be changed at any time. Your progress stays.
The app is not affiliated with BAMF. Leben in Deutschland — Done! is an independent study tool by Soba Apps. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated on behalf of BAMF or any German government authority.
